Hitendra Wadhwa is IPL’s Founder and President. Hitendra Wadhwa is Professor of Practice at Columbia Business School, where he teaches MBA and Executive Education courses on Personal Leadership, Driving Strategic Impact and Leading from the Inside Out.
At IPL, Hitendra consults with and provides executive education to a number of organizations. Through a partnership between IPL and Columbia Business School, Hitendra was the first leadership faculty at a top school to launch an online executive education program in 2012.

As Managing Director of the Institute for Personal Leadership India, Deepanshu Sharma manages content development and program delivery operations and is responsible for evangelizing the IPL proposition across Asia Pacific. As a senior faculty member at IPL, he augments IPL's Inner Mastery/Outer Impact approach to leadership with his own practical experiences to help both organizations and individuals achieve their highest potential.
Deepanshu joins IPL after investing 25 years in the ever-evolving technology industry in India, where he held several leadership positions for global brands such as Apple Computer, Microsoft Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices.

Rod McCowan leads Personal Leadership workshops for IPL’s organizational clients and serves as an executive coach to participants. He has founded the Accelerance Group, a strategic advisory and executive coaching firm that helps visionary CEOs and leadership teams build innovative and high-performing organizations that drive dramatic impact. Rod spent most of his early career leading complex, large-scale organizational performance improvement and turnaround efforts, alternating between global CHRO, strategy consulting, and international general management roles at Herman Miller, Inc., Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, and VeriSign, Inc. President Bush (41) selected Rod as a White House Fellow, and President Clinton appointed him as the Assistant Secretary of Education for the Office of Management in the U.S. Department of Education. Rod holds an Master’s Degree in Social Ethics from Yale Divinity School and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he was twice selected a Kennedy Fellow.
Petra Hoehn Nemeth serves as an executive coach to IPL clients. In the past, Petra has built integrated, cross-platform brands in her roles as President of This Old House Ventures (a Time Warner company), Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Operations of Bertelsmann Corporate Network and VP Television of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Dan Burrier serves as a Senior Faculty member and Executive Director at IPL. He is a branding and personal leadership strategist, writer, speaker and ordained Zen priest. A lifelong student of human nature, technology, marketing and things just as they are, Dan has had the good fortune to have been able to apply these learnings in a variety of business settings.
As Worldwide Creative Director on Apple Computer at BBDO; co-President, Chief Creative Officer and Chief Innovation Officer at Ogilvy & Mather; and CEO of COMMON, he has guided brand and organizational behavior, market positioning and messaging for Apple, IBM, Motorola, Cisco Systems, Communities in Schools, Vodafone and a bevy of social-impact startups and nonprofit organizations.
In other hours of any given day, Dan interweaves his duties as husband, father, surfer, ultramarathoner, student of Zen and 2nd-season blue-ribbon winning garlic farmer. “It is on the far far unexplored edges of what we know--when we push there and beyond--that we discover what we are truly capable of." George Khaldun delivers Personal Leadership training for IPL’s organizational clients. George is a management and leadership specialist speaking regularly before national and international audiences including at the Aspen Institute, the United Nations and U.S. Department of State. He is the founder of the Institute For Urban Leadership (IFUL), and has implemented strategic innovations developing leaders and an education pipeline in distressed communities for over 20 years. George is also the co-founder of the heralded Harlem Children’s Zone where he developed a leadership development curriculum and deployed education, health, early childhood, and violence prevention programs, serving over 20,000 young people and adults annually. George was previously an economic development specialist for the national NAACP and adjunct professor at Bermuda College. George holds an AB in Government from Bowdoin College, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Policy from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. Julie Hussain delivers Personal Leadership workshops to IPL’s organizational clients and coaches IPL’s online executive education participants. In recent times, she has delivered IPL workshops at Brown Brothers Harriman, Unilever, Verizon Wireless, the United Nations and the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center. Prior to joining IPL, she worked at Deloitte Consulting LLP in their Human Capital group as a senior consultant and at the Corporate Executive Board as an associate director of research. She brings 12 years of work experience in talent strategies and learning & development. Julie received her BA in Psychology from Yale University and her MBA from Columbia Business School. Derrick Huang coaches IPL’s online executive education participants and delivers Science of Strategy training workshops. Derrick has 16 years of work experience in Management Consulting, Venture Capital, and Software Development. His consulting career began at McKinsey & Company, where he led initiatives on War Gaming, Competitive Intelligence, and Strategic Decision-Making, serving clients in the Mobile/Telecom, Hi-tech/Consumer Electronics, and Healthcare/Pharmaceutical sectors. Subsequently, he has developed and delivered training programs in Disciplined Innovation, Strategic Decision-Making, and Digital/Mobile Strategy for large corporate and entrepreneurial audiences. Derrick holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
Natasha Gill runs coaching and training sessions for IPL’s online executive education participants. In the past, she has managed recruitment, learning & development and performance management at Northwest Hardwoods, a Weyerhaeuser company. Natasha received an M.B.A. from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and a B.Ed. from D.S. College of Education, Chandigarh.
Erin Culek provides coaching to IPL’s Science of Strategy online executive education participants. Erin brings over 12 years of strategy and operating experience. She spent 4+ years at AXA US where she was most recently the Managing Director and Head of the Strategic Initiatives Group. In this role, she was responsible for strategy and business development across AXA’s life insurance, annuity, retirement and wealth management business units in the US. Erin has also worked at McKinsey & Company, where she primarily served financial services clients in areas such as strategy, risk, operations and marketing. Erin received her BA in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
Sonal Mehta Khokha coaches IPL’s online executive education participants and delivers Personal Leadership training. Sonal has 10+ years of work experience in Management Consulting, Banking, and Media Production. She is currently a Senior Manager in the Consumer Goods & Retail Practice Strategy group at A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm. Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Sonal was a Vice President at Santander Bank. She brings 10 years of work experience in professional development and mentorship. Sonal received her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and B.A. from Boston University.
