Jeffrey utilizes a diverse background in business, media and the arts as a management consultant with a focus on leadership development and communications. His background as an actor, director, teacher, founder and executive informs his consulting and facilitation style. It incorporates a deep understanding of the power of listening and the ability to create trainings that are highly experiential and which connect theory to practice. IPL clients he has recently served include The Holdsworth Center and Kraft Heinz.
He teaches The Leader’s Voice, a popular leadership course at Columbia Business School, and advises Fortune 1000 executives in the Columbia Advanced Management Program. As Executive Director and Co-Founder of the theater company Stone Soup Shakespeare, he has helped bring free Shakespeare performances to rural communities. Prior to joining IPL, he spent 11 years as an actor, director and producer in the theater industry and 5 years in nonprofit management, including marketing and branding with NPR/PBS affiliates. Jeffrey received his BA from Haverford College, obtained his theater training from Drama Studio London in the UK and earned his Executive MBA from Columbia Business School.
In his spare time, Jeffrey plays music with his two young daughters, wanders the great outdoors and drinks coffee at cafes across the world with his wife.
