As Senior Director of Learning & Technology and Associate Faculty at IPL, Julie's mission in life is to "help leaders become the best leaders they can be." Julie is passionate about designing transformative leadership programs for clients, facilitating application-focused workshops, and overseeing the development of IPL's new revolutionary learning platform, MentoraTM. Her recent clients include The Holdsworth Center, MetLife, Unilever, the United Nations, Verizon Wireless, and the World Bank. She also co-teaches Professor Wadhwa's award-winning "Personal Leadership & Success" course at Columbia Business School.
Prior to joining IPL, Julie worked as a senior consultant with Deloitte Human Capital Consulting and as an associate director of research with the General Counsel Roundtable at the Corporate Executive Board. She received her BA in Psychology from Yale University and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
Julie has a keen interest in social media where she enjoys writing practical IPL-related articles, and sharing inspirational stories and quotes, such as this one from Gandhi: "Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the one derived from fear of punishment." In her free time, she enjoys going on adventures around the world with her family and making memories that last with her two young daughters. She loves everything 80s pop culture, cooking Korean food, salsa dancing, surfing, and watching inspirational movies.
